Are you ready to take a leading role in digital transformation? Are you an aspiring BSc in Engineering, ICT or Applied Sciences and aspiring to a career in a broader role? Do you want to specialize in digital technology? Are you willing to go beyond the obvious in order to solve complex and meaningful challenges in an interdisciplinary approach? Do you want to build your network in the high-tech ecosystem of the Netherlands from day one?
Why a Professional Masters in Digital Technology?
There is no simple solution to major challenges such as climate change, infectious diseases and the explosive growth of technology. The rise of the smart society and digital transformation requires a different approach to digital technology, people, processes, and collaboration.
The field of work calls for engineers who can handle high levels of uncertainty, complexity, interdependence and adaptations, and understand the ecosystem.
To fill this gap, the Institute of Professional Studies worked with international companies, research centers and educational institutions to design this new professional master’s programme.
This professional master’s offers direct entry to students who wish to complete a professional master’s degree.
what will you learn
The program gives you the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge and skills in digital technology and systems engineering. It is designed to allow you to develop solutions to the complex problems posed by digital transformation.
During the Master’s programme, we facilitate a stimulating learning environment in which you work on real-life challenges, using skills such as collaboration, feedback and reflection. Working in a design-oriented manner, you will encounter the issues facing the industry and understand the stages a digital solution goes through from start to finish.
Upon successful completion of your Professional Master’s degree, you will be a digital technology engineer who can implement digital technology solutions and contribute to the digital transformation of organizations. You will be able to contribute to a rapidly changing digital society and have a social impact on the areas of sustainability and ethics.
