Student Office

The Student Office Department is responsible for supervising student affairs, and the Student Affairs Director works on developing the services provided by the department and follows up on their implementation as required. This department includes the following units:

The Student Council is a student gathering that represents the link between students and the college administration and aims to serve students, raise their issues, present their point of view and defend it.
It also aims to enhance the spirit of participation and cooperation between students on the one hand and the administration and faculty members on the other, and it develops awareness of moral values ​​and infuses them with a spirit of leadership and responsibility. The council consists of the council president and (5) student members. The selection process is carried out through election according to a special bylaw of the Student Affairs Department.

Council Objectives

Emphasizing the importance of dialogue and understanding as a method of upscale dealings with students within the college.
Working on developing students’ leadership skills and building their balanced personality.
Familiarize the student with his problems and suggestions and involve him in developing appropriate solutions.
Reducing the behavioral and educational problems within the college by opening the way for the student to reveal himself through his fellow council members, which contributes to achieving discipline within the college.
Raising the spirit of competition among students by participating in the council’s membership.
Familiarize the student with hearing the other opinion and respecting its owner, if it does not conflict with the established principles.

Tasks of the Student Council Unit

Study and discuss students’ problems and contribute to solving them.
Paying attention to programs that strengthen the relationship between students, teachers and parents.
Studying the various negative phenomena that spread among students at the college level.
Discuss the educational problems that students face with the faculty members and contribute to solving them with the college administration.
Contribute to the organization of curricular and extracurricular activities inside and outside the college.
Providing motivational programs for students.
Activating the role of the business sector in providing job opportunities for recent graduates and helping to update the list of graduates in cooperation with the Career Center.
Strengthening relationships with sponsoring companies to cover the university’s activities.
Presenting the presidential term work plan and following up on its implementation.
Participation in all internal and external activities of the university.
Encouraging creativity and innovation among students.
Cooperating with the Career Center in organizing and implementing training courses to develop students’ performance.
Developing the college’s scientific clubs.

Talent and creativity activities represent a crucible in which the talents of the college students are refined and their abilities developed.
This is done by providing support services for students with high mental and academic abilities
and faculty members to invest their energies and develop their latent talents and creative abilities,
