The precursory element of a democratic state is the rule of law. To keep a balanced, just, and peaceful society and co-exist in today’s global community law is fundamental.
With this view, International Suleiman University Bachelor Programme International Law aims to lead future law professionals with the capacity to engage in advanced research independently. In order to develop academic and personal skills for dispute avoidance and resolution. Our program is composed of courses that highlight interpretative skills for both case law and Statutes. In doing so our comparative courses encourage students to keep an open mind, critically analyze, gain legal logic, and reasoning.
International Suleiman University is proud to present an international law program that is fulfilling the need for an international approach to law, composed of comparative legal systems, compulsory courses on Common Law, European Union Law, and laws of the arab world to prepare law students for their legal professions as legal consultants, litigators, judges, and prosecutors. Our program offers an outline which enables students to take full advantage of an advanced legal education in the English abd Arabic language thus allowing them to compete in the international arena.

Program Outcomes
Academic qualifications that are necessary to go on and be successful as practicing solicitors and barristers in the United Kingdom and other Common Law Countries.
Knowledge of and understand one of the world’s most important internal market and its principles, EU.
Procedural knowledge of the European Union allowing them the opportunity to appear before the Court of Justice and at first instance to defend clients.
Represent clients in International Arenas such as the UN Human Rights Tribunals and Council of Europe Court in Strasbourg.

1. The Duration of study to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in International Law four academic years for those admitted on the basis of high school diploma and two years for those admitted to the promotion programme according to the institute and specialization.
2. A student is allowed a maximum of 8 years for high school diploma holders and 4 years for intermediate institute certificate holders.
3. The academic year is divided into two independent semesters, and the University Council determines the date for the start and end of the study and the dates for the exams according to the university calendar.

1. The mark of each course is calculated from 100 marks.
2. The student is considered successful in the course if he obtains a final result greater than or equal to 50% of the higher score of the course.
3. In the event that a student succeeds in a course and obtains an exam score higher than 90% of the total mark, the university has the right if it wants to check the student’s level through an oral interview or a written exam, and confirm his success in the course or announce his failure in it, if he is not at the required level.
4. In the event that the student fails the course, he must repeat it with his exams, and with full reimbursement of his costs.
General average of graduation:
The averages of the courses in which the student succeeded for the four years are collected and divided by the total number of courses, and the general average is extracted.
